I hear myself say at least once a day "I really need glasses" now... I don't know if I'm near-sighted as I don't seem to have a problem with reading on my work pc or on the tablet at home. But labels...

The optometrist appointment itself is bulk billed so that shouldn't be a problem. I recently bought myself some spare glasses for $49. They're only very basic but for $49 I just can't complain.
